The game publisher Dispatch Games will bring the Western localization of the enhanced version of Psyvariar Medium Unit and Psyvariar Revision which entitled Psyvariar Delta for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch this July physically and digitally. It was announced via Famitsu last April 2018 and it was released in Japan and in Asia last August 2018 for both PS4 and Switch.
After its release to the game consoles, it was followed by the PC version via Steam in January. Now, the Western folks will experience this shoot ’em up game this month. So are you ready for this great comeback to the post-modern consoles of today?
The game sets in the far future as the main protagonist is the ultimate hope for mankind. With the newest spaceships available on Psyvariar, shoot the enemies to prevent the invasion from creatures of outer space. The freedom of the people is now on your bare hands.
With the enhanced version of Psyvariar, players can now experience the new mode such as the Replay Mode+ and Score Attack Mode. These modes will be available in the online leaderboard to check out your scores against other players. Of course, the new UI will bring you the fresh interface from the Ex levels, boss health, and time remaining after you level up. With the new UI, novice players will understand the stats well. Plus, along with the two original planes, this enhanced version will add new planes as downloadable content.

- New Mode – Players can now set their stage, planes, levels, and experience. In the Replay Mode+, a player can challenge each area with their own plane and bombs. Score Attack Mode allows a player to play for the high score with their difficulty. Both modes will have an online leaderboard to show how you stack up against other players
- New UI – The new UI shows Ex levels, boss health, and invincible time remaining after leveling up. The new design is easy for beginners to understand while the information helps experts as well. In the options menu, a player can show the hit area for their own plane and their enemies so that the game can be adjusted based on the players level of play
- New planes – Along with the 2 original planes, there will be new planes available as DLC which bring all new original attacks. These DLC can be used on all levels allowing players to have a different gameplay experience
