The New Nintendo Switch Model Features The Best Battery Life!
It’s been only a week since Nintendo surprised everyone with the revelation of Nintendo Switch Lite as the newest member of the Nintendo Switch family. And it looks like Nintendo isn’t stopping from producing the best possible Nintendo Switch system that’ll suit you.
If you’re a hard-core gamer, there’s no doubt that you’ll love this one. Nintendo is currently working on a new Nintendo Switch model that will be completely identical to the original Nintendo Switch system except for one significant improvement — longer battery life. The new Nintendo Switch with Model number HAC-001(-01) will soon begin production and will be available in mid-August.
The original launch model has the worst battery life among the three which approximately lasts for 2.5-6.5 hours of playtime according to Nintendo. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch Lite’s battery life was reported to be a bit better offering 3-7 hours of playtime. But, the upcoming updated model can deliver 4.5-9 hours of battery life and will undoubtedly be the best of them all.
Here’s the comparison table of all the Nintendo Switch versions:
How To Differentiate the Old & New Model?
Since the new Switch model looks exactly like the old system, it’s important that you can distinguish it from the old one. But, how can you tell the difference?
According to Nintendo’s product site, the original packaging features the console against a white background with a TV displayed on the left side. Meanwhile, the packaging for the new Switch model features the console against an all-red background with a TV displayed on the right side.
In addition, you can also refer to the serial number of each system. The old model starts with an “XAE” serial number while the new model starts with an “XKW” serial number. You can find the
