Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Good news to every Dragon Ball fans, the long wait is over! The release date for the latest installment from your favorite  Dragon Ball game series is finally here. Bandai Namco, the game’s publisher, revealed at the on-going Tokyo Game Show 2019 its official release date on the Western Regions and it was shown at the end of the new trailer they debuted at TGS 2019. Check it out below!

And yes, you read it right! Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is heading to the west this January 17, 2020, while in Japan it was announced on the Dragon Ball official website that it will be out on January 16, a day earlier from its western release date. The game will be available for Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is based on one of the best selling Japanese media franchises, Dragon Ball, which was released in 1984 in manga and later adapted into animated series in 1986. Dragon Ball gained international popularity through various anime adaptations and video games and its main protagonist Goku became one of the most iconic and recognizable characters in the world until today.

At this year’s E3, Bandai Namco, the game’s publisher, revealed that the Dragon Ball Game: Project Z will be officially Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and it will be released next year on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. More so, CyberConnect2 will be the game’s developer.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is an upcoming action role-playing game set to release early next year. Reminisce Goku’s story, join the epic battles, experience life in the Dragon Ball Z world as you fight, fish, eat and train with Goku. Explore the new areas and adventures as you advance through the story and form powerful bonds with the other heroes from the Dragon Ball Z universe.
