Tokyo Game Show 2019 fed us with a lot of updates and announcements of our favorite upcoming games like Atelier Ryza. During the event’s special stage entitled “Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout + Gust Special Stage”, the game developer Gust unveiled two new game footages. Check it out below.
The first video is a Story Trailer exclusively released at TGS 2019. It introduces Ryza, the game’s protagonists, the village she live’s in and her group of friends who will join her on her adventure throughout the game.
The second one is Atelier Ryza’s Synthesis Gameplay wherein you can select and create various items like tools, medicines, weapons and more by combining them via synthesis. The synthesis system, also known as “Linkage Synthesis,” features a fixed number of cells that players can unlock via strategic item placement – extending a variety of different results imbued onto the final product depending on the way the cell branches. Special change recipe cells can also be uncovered which unlock new recipes, enabling aspiring alchemists to experiment with different items while discovering exciting new results.
Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout is due out this September 26 in Japan, October 29 in North America and November 1 in Europe. Pre-order is still available here at Playasia.

If you missed it, Koei Tecmo and developer Gust previously released the theme song trailer for the game. The trailer features plenty of lovely in-game cut scenes sequences, providing a fresh look at the game’s stunning universe with Ryza herself and her friends.
The video also uncovers two brand new characters who have not been announced yet. And the cherry on top of this update is the revelation of the game’s theme song, “Nijiiro No Summer” (Rainbow Summer), sung by Sayaka Kanda.
