Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot released a screenshot for its upcoming mini-game “Home Run Game”. Check out the uploaded screenshot on the game’s official Twitter account.

This mini game’s screenshot reminds us of the scene from the series where Gohan plays baseball and tries to hide his overwhelming physical ability. He even holds the bat wrong, just like in the anime. In the game, players are allowed to deduce what type of pitch will be thrown, get the right timing and if everything lines up right – you can knock a home run out of the planet’s atmosphere. Yamcha can also test his batting skills, and Vegeta can be a pitcher too.

Bandai Namco also confirmed that they will include the Cell Saga in the game where both Trunks and Teen Gohan will be playable, alongside Android 17 making an appearance. The episode where Goku and Piccolo try to get their driver’s licenses will also be in the game, as a driving mini-game.  (Thanks, Niche Gamer!)

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is due out in Japan on January 16, and in the Western Regions on January 17 for PS4 and Xbox One. Pre-order is still available here at Playasia.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is based on one of the best selling Japanese media franchises, Dragon Ball, which was released in 1984 in manga and later adapted into animated series in 1986.
