Playasia Supports Jujelyn Ballon For Mrs. Philippines Globe
It is not all the time that we deviate from our usual niche of providing you with all of the pieces of information that make us the #1 Japanese games importer. But when we do, we make sure that we add value to our community (such as our Corporate Social Responsibility) and even in support of noteworthy causes like women empowerment.
This time, we are branching out to support our employee of Playasia, Jujelyn Ballon, and the noble cause that they fight for at Mrs. Philippines Globe.
To start with, what is Mrs. Philippines Globe? The said pageant is the no. 1 beauty pageant for married women and single mothers in the Philippines. Its mission is to genuinely empower married women and single moms by making them feel worthier than they believe by reinventing them to be a symbol of inspiration and women of substance through their career, charitable works and life stories.
And for this year’s edition, Playasia is proud that Ms. Jujelyn, an employee of Playasia in the Philippines, is taking part in the said pageant. Jujelyn has been with the company for more than 1 year already as a Team Leader for the Risk Management Team under the Customer Service. She is the sole representative of Zambales Province in the said pageant.
➡️The name of the province is derived from its earliest inhabitants, the Zambals, whom the Spanish found worshipping spirits called anitos. They were referred to as “Sambali,” from the Malay word samba, meaning “to worship.” The term was later Hisparicized to “Zambal.”
➡️The Dinamulag Festival also known as the Zambales Mango Festival is an annual festival held in the province of Zambales in the Philippines to celebrate or encourage bountiful harvest of the province’s mangoes.

When asked about why she should win the said pageant, Jujelyn said:
Time and time again, winning is not just getting a coveted crown. It is fully realizing and living the elusive core values of the Mrs. Philippines Globe for the countless heroes in the changing face of the Filipina single or married women making them more empowered and reinvented. And by living these core values, I am already a Mrs. Philippines Globe.
During a quick catch up with Jujelyn, we asked what has been the biggest surprise that she faced in motherhood. With a deep breath and a warm smile, she calmly answered:
The biggest surprise about motherhood is the transformation of being a woman to being a superhero. Motherhood can make or break you. But at the end of the day, it makes so strong that you will be surprised on what you can do that you never did.
