Death Stranding The Drop Trailer Shows The Struggles of Sam From Saving America

Now that Death Stranding has officially gone gold, we’re just basically waiting for the game to be in our hands. But, are you still confused about how will Hideo Kojima’s long-awaited game, Death Stranding, will play? Well, we have seen a little spark of hope to understand the game a bit more with the newest trailer that Sony Interactive Entertainment and Kojima Productions released called The Drop.
The new trailer shows the world of threats that Norman Reedus (Sam Bridges in the game) will face as he strives to save America. We can see from the video that Sam is trying to traverse America to deliver packages and to reunite and reconnect the isolated cities of the region through building new ‘Strands.’
But, as per Sam himself, restoring a fractured world “ain’t as simple as it seems.” While he is attempting to journey America, a group of yellow-clad baddies with electrified-sticks are trying to stop Sam in every step of his way.
Unfortunately, as he is trying to run and protect himself from great dangers, he accidentally drops the package that he’s trying to keep safe throughout his journey. A flashback was then shown on how Sam got that package. While grabbing a hold of the package, a man via projection told him, “Hurry Sam, you know what’s at stake.”
He then narrates, “My name is Sam Porter Bridges. It’s my job to reconnect us.” The trailer ends with a terrifying gigantic humanoid figure that appears to be Sam’s frightening rival.

If you missed it, Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Kojima Productions revealed the release date of the upcoming Sony exclusive game through a 9-minute long trailer. So, if you are already decided to own this game, better get that pen and mark that calendar as Death Stranding will arrive for PlayStation 4 on November 8th this year.
The new trailer shows Norman Reedus’ character, Sam, exploring the world and riding his cool futuristic motorcycle while fighting both human and supernatural enemies along his way. His mission? To save the U.S. in the brink of extinction, one that he seems skeptical that it will do any good.
