On the most recent issue of Weekly Jump Magazine, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 confirmed another playable character on the 4th installment of One Piece: Pirate Warriors game series. Check out the scan copy below!
The new playable character is no other than Basil Hawkins. Basil Hawkins is the captain of the Hawkins Pirates. He is a tall man with black triangle symbols on his eyebrows, with red eyes, and golden hair that reaches down to his hips. He also has a black cross tattooed at the base of his throat in front of his neck. You can also see Kaido on the magazine, but based on Arlong Park Forums, Kaido is only mentioned as a giant boss, not a playable character.
Now, Basil Hawkins joins the roster of playable characters together with Carrot, Charlotte Katakuri and the past playable characters from the previous games of One Piece: Pirate Warriors. The game is due out next year and pre-order is now available here at Playasia.

During Bandai Namco’s “Play Anime” panel at Anime Expo 2019, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, and Omega Force revealed the newest installment in the One Piece: Pirate Warriors series, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. It is an action-adventure game based on the classic Shonen Jump series, One Piece, that will be released in 2020.
The latest installment is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. The announcement was accompanied by a debut trailer which can be seen below.
