Buildings Have Feelings Too! is an upcoming city management game from publisher Merge Games and developer Blackstaff Games. In this game, buildings are alive and they are designed from the Victorian era up to the Modern Day. They walk and they talk to each other individually with hopes, dreams, and fears.
As the world changes, the risk of being demolished and lost forever is higher. So, players must discover new ways to attend to the city’s needs. It could be refurbishing a building or simply grabbing it by the hand and putting it on a nicer part of the neighborhood.
The game’s city-building mechanics are pretty simple. Each building can be assigned a variety of roles and each role has a list of things it wants and doesn’t want. For example, there are apartments that want to be near “light entertainment ” but far from factories. So, as you build your city, you have to make sure the balance of happiness of your buildings!
