Commonly called Guǐ (鬼); these creatures are strictly connected with the three main cults: Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism, which according to the ancestor worship, they imagine a new life after death. Lìguǐ (疠鬼): carriers of disease, in this world they were grudge people.
Èguǐ (饿鬼): wicked gaseous spirits of arrogant.
Yǎnguǐ (魘鬼): dark beings who were hustlers in life.
Wǎngliǎng-guǐ (魍魉鬼): they drain energy from trees or rocks, and during their earthly life they were corrupted by their desire for insight.
Yìshǐ-guǐ (役使鬼): the people who become them had an insane desire for accomplishment, and can turn into a blinding light.
Chuánsòng-guǐ (传送鬼): the ghost of a slothful person who can transform into any person it wants.
