Development History

Originally, Trials of Mana was released way back in 1995 as Seiken Densetsu 3 for the Super Famicom and is considered as a Super Famicom Classic. It is an action role-playing game developed and published by Square which is now known as Square Enix. It is the third installment in the Mana series, and the sequel to the 1993 game, Secret of Mana.

More so, Seiken Densetsu 3 is one of the many games in Japan that didn’t make it to West. But, through an unofficial English fan translation released in 2000, English-speaking players had the opportunity to play and experience the game.

Now that 2019 has come, Seiken Densetsu officially made its way to the West as Collection of Mana which will be released on August 27th. Meanwhile, Trials of Mana remake for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC is ready for its worldwide release in early 2020.
