Yakuza fans, it’s time to celebrate! Are you waiting for the Western release of the Yakuza series? The wait is over. During the Gamescom 2019, the game publisher Sega announced the Western localization of the remaining Yakuza games (Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5). Meanwhile, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life localization is now available last 2018 and the new Yakuza game entry entitled Yakuza: Like a Dragon Western localization is coming in 2020.
Now, if you are waiting for the Western physical localization of the remaining Yakuza games, no worries as Sega will bring the limited-run physical edition of the Yakuza remastered localization in The Yakuza Remastered Collection which includes the Yakuza 3, 4, and 5. This collection is coming on February 11, 2020, for the PlayStation 4. Meanwhile, the digital version of Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 4 are now available via the PlayStation 4. Meanwhile, Yakuza 5 will come out on February 11, 2020 which is the same release date of the physical edition.

The Dragon of Dojima is back as Kazuma Kiryu is bringing the Yakuza combat once again with the Yakuza Remastered Collection. All the three games included in this collection will be suitable for the PlayStation 4 from 720p at 30fps to 1080p at 60fps which was also subjected to the rigorous re-localization process. Plus, never-before-seen content from the original Western localization.

What’s Changed in The Yakuza Remastered Collection?
The Yakuza Remastered Collection is far from a typical console generation port. In addition to graphical and performance upgrades (720p –> 1080p at 30fps –> 60fps), all three games have gone through a rigorous re-localization process. The English scripts for each game have been reviewed, revised, and even rewritten in some cases, and content previously cut from the western releases of Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 have been re-added in The Yakuza Remastered Collection.
In Yakuza 3, this means the Mahjong, Shogi, Massage Parlor, and ever-popular Cabaret minigames, as well as a collection of Substories cut from the original release, are now available in the West for the first time!
Several quality-of-life changes have also been added for each release in the collection, including a Substory tracker on the map and the ability to toggle between English and Japanese written lyrics during Karaoke.
