Nippon Ichi Software released new details and screenshots for the upcoming rogue-like RPG void tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium. The new information focuses on robot customization, some strange diseases that might affect the protagonist Toriko and the game’s resources.
Dungeon Exploration
During exploration, Toriko might get hungry especially when the destination is far. You can prepare a hearty meal for Toriko so she won’t starve during the exploration. Creatures like insects can be a source of protein. Don’t worry, factory AI will give you a rough idea of the destination, so you can balance out the exploration while taking care of Toriko.
Conversion To Resources
Once done with exploring, you can bring back some objective items or mostly known as “special resources”, while other items will be converted into four types of “resources”. All resources from the exploration can be converted. Special resources are used for creating furniture or medicine. The four types of resources include Organic, Inorganic, Energy and Contaminated resources.
Helper Robot Customization
As the exploration continues, players can customize the performance of the helper robot. Create and equipped the “Customization Parts” and set “Skills”, a useful tool for exploration. You can also create data known as ” Roles”, it can add to the performance of the robot. You can give direction to the skills that appear during the exploration. Each role has a different specialization and you can switch roles to overcome enemies.
Toriko’s Diseases
The game’s story follows Toriko, a young girl in a world contaminated with deadly fungi. And with her low and weak immune system, she gets easily sick by even small toxic substances and environmental changes. Listed below are some strange diseases that might affect Toriko and some probable cure.
- Zombify – a highly lethal disease wherein Toriko’s body decays once exposed to it. She will move unsteadily, bite and infect anything she catches. You might end up blindfolding her to block her sight and restraining her so she cannot move.
- Liquify – a disease that melts Toriko’s body. If left untreated, she will melt into her core making here into a slime. You can encase here into a mold to be reformed. However, you must be warned that gathering her melted body might be hard since its already liquified.
- Insect Gathering– a disease where Toriko gathers insects. Insects may act as carriers that cause even more severe diseases. Eliminate the harmful insects using insecticide.
- Chicken Disease – a disease where Toriko grows wings and feathers. The roots of the wings are hard, as painful as stabbing the body with the needle making Toriko weak because of the pain.
- Crying Disease – a disease where Toriko can’t stop crying. Her weeping never stops due to sadness and loneliness. You need to fill the gaps in her heart and calm her down.
- Bone Fractures – since Toriko is young, she’s weak against impact and may break her bones sometimes, she will have swollen and red skinny legs. Stabilize and rest her broken parts well so it won’t be healed in a crooked way.

This game follows the main protagonist named Toriko who remained alive which makes her the last person who lived in the ruined world along with a helper robot that discovers her along the way. With the environment she lives, it can no longer sustain life. It is characterized as a world covered with deadly fungi. The robot creates a living environment called a terrarium to protect Toriko as the world is on the verge of decay because of the fungi. Will Toriko survive this harsh and cruel world from hunger to contaminants to unknown diseases?
