Two epic tales of Inti Creates‘ Azure Striker Gunvolt franchise, known as Armed Blue Gunvolt (蒼き雷霆 ガンヴォルト) in Japan, is about to spread its wings to Sony’s PlayStation 4 on April 23, 2020, in Japan. And it is none other than the 2014-released Azure Striker Gunvolt and 2016-released sequel Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 in one single package! Introducing Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack PS4 version. The collection will be released physically and digitally. The battle for the future of Adepts is about to begin on PlayStation 4! 

Inti Creates revealed the announcement on their official Twitter account and even linked the game’s official website on the post. Check it out below. 

As of the moment, no word for the collection’s western physical release has been confirmed. However, when Gematsu asked the publisher about it on Twitter, Inti Creates said, “We’re working on making that happen, but nothing is set in stone just yet. Once we have a confirmed, detailed answer for everyone, we will make another official announcement about it.”

What to Expect?

Azure Striker Gunvolt Striker Pack PS4 version takes you into two of the most electrifying 2D side-scrolling action games in the series, “Azure Striker Gunvolt” and “Azure Striker Gunvolt 2”, that previously made their home on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch in one single package. What’s even more exciting is that both of the titles have been upgraded from their original 30 frames per second to 60 frames per second an all-new epic gameplay experience. 

It is also worth noting that the PS4 port comes packed with all the previous downloadable content such as bonus modes, extra stages, bosses, and even new songs! New song? Yes, you read that right. The PS4 version will be having its debut on April 23 with its own theme song which will be sung by the virtual idol Lumen (voiced by Megu Sakuragawa). 

Plus, Inti Creates announced that the PS4 port will support nine languages including English, Japanese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese.
