The virtual international idol Hatsune Miku is ready to steal your hearts out on the 13th of February for her first-ever appearance on the Nintendo Switch in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MegaMix or Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39’s. Ahead of the game’s release, Sega released the newest batch of update featuring the game’s customization features. This includes Watch Video, Custom Playlists, Hairstyle Customization, and Accessories. Check them all out below!

Plus, capture your favorite moments by using the console’s built-in screenshot functionality. But, that’s not all! Feel the beat of your favorite songs by listening to them one after another in the game’s Custom Playlists.

Customization

Let’s see how your sense of fashion and style goes with the game’s “Customization” feature. Buy and design your modules, hairstyles and other accessories. Plus, here in “Customization”, it’s not all about designing, you can also adjust here the rhythm game settings! Of course, don’t forget to have fun and earn more “VP” that you can later on use in purchasing items.

Hairstyle Customization

Let’s talk about hairstyle! You can choose the best hairstyle for your module! How? Simply change your module’s hairstyle to another hairstyle of a different module in the game. But, please also take note that there are other modules with hairstyles that cannot be traded.

Accessories

Unleash that inner stylist in you and mix and match the perfect combination of accessories for your character! You can select from a variety of accessories that can be used in a character’s head, face, chest, and back! Plus, the more “VP” you earn, the more you can buy and collect multiple accessories for your character!

Release Date

Hatsune Miku‘s very first appearance on the Nintendo Switch has now an official date. Sega announced that Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39’s will arrive on retail stores and Nintendo eShop on February 13, 2020.

About the Game

In collaboration with Sega AM Research & Development No. 2, the game is set to release in Japan in early 2020. The rhythm title features 101 songs in total with 100 coming from the previous titles and the extra one being the game’s newly written theme song. You can enjoy more than 300 modules (costumes) and new game modes made particularly for the Nintendo Switch.

Ten brand new songs have also been added in this game for you to enjoy! Worry not though Hatsune Miku PS4 title owners, these newly recorded songs are also expected to be added to the PS4 release Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone / Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX sometime in 2020 as a paid DLC.
