This game brings you to the Shimane prefecture wherein this is also the location of the Root Letter game. You’ll soon discover that you are in the deep thrilling murder story. Root Film is all about a TV series entitled Shimane Mystery Drama Project. This TV series was canceled for an unknown reason 10 years ago. Now, they want to bring back the project with the three teams with the director and an actress booked as a part of the cast. The main protagonist named Rintaro Yagumo, a 23-year old man doesn’t expect that his excitement will turn into terrors as a shocking crime happened in their location scouting process. Follow him and the rest of the characters of Root Film to find the truth behind this murder incident.
Root Film is written by Hifumi Kouno and the characters are designed by Taro Mino. Along with Rintaro Yagumo, there’s also another protagonist named Riho.
