Founded in 1974 by Yoshiaki Kanazawa; originally it was involved in the manufacture of colorful, and eye-catching electromechanical medal games. But with the advent of video games Jaleco sensed their full potential in a very innovative way producing machines that melted video and medal games’ mechanics into one; the result was the unforgettable Arm Champs arcade machine. Composed by two chapters, the first released in 1988 and the second in 1992, Arm Champs is an arm wrestling simulation in which the player must win the world arm wrestling championship-winning against the fiercest athletes from all over the world.
To do it, the aspiring champion must grab the mechanical arm, and beat the opponent showing the CPU how strong you are. Due to these exceptionally innovative successfully experiments; Jaleco in few years entered into the Olympus of video game developers.

But luckily, Arm Champs are just two titles of its immense production. In fact, through the years Jaleco has released dozens of masterpieces both for arcades and for consoles; many of them became milestones of video game history. We’re sure that almost everybody played (or at least heard) with Exerion, Avenging Spirit, Rushing Beat, Psychic 5, Ninja Jajamaru-Kun & the one and only Game Tengoku – The Game Paradise!

There’s something wrong inside the “You&Me Kamiyoga” arcade in Kamiyoga, Tokyo. Yamada, the half-naked, self-proclaimed “Super-Duper-Genius-Smart-Guy”, wants to rule over the world. And to do it he hacked all the video games to pursuit his mischievous objective. Luckily for all the unaware people out there; the part-time green-haired employee Yuki Ito can’t allow this.

In order to stop him; she used her geeky-skills to get help from her favorite video game characters. Jeynus from Exerion, Momoko from Momoko 120 %, Z-DYNE from Formation Z, Pig from Butasan, Selia from Plus Alpha, and many other personalities will shoot their way to stop the mad Yamada, and keep the world safe and joyful!
But there’s something bad in the air after a long retire seems that Yamada is ready to invade the current generation of consoles, so be ready to wear the proper hero uniform and do your part in Game Tengoku CruisinMix Special for NS!
