Many decades are passed since Dedi’s appearance on Earth, but during all the phases of human history, magic got a special place in all cultures; Siberian Shamans used it extensively to enter in a parallel world to meet deities, Japanese Itako exploits their magical powers to communicate with the spirit of the dead, while English occultists like Aleister Crowley tried to help other people to align with their True Will, which is nothing but their grand destiny.
With a single wave of a hand or rod, all of them could invert the laws of nature, invoke spirits, reading minds, and many other incredible things.

Even in the anime industry; magic has been significantly exploited to make legendary adventures, even greater.
