Sega is really feeding our inner classic souls something to look forward to with the reproduction of palm-sized legendary consoles such as the 2019-released Genesis/Mega Drive Mini and the recently announced Game Gear Micro. And believe it or not, Sega has unveiled another product to join your retro collection soon. Ye$, you read that right. Introducing, Astro City Mini, a mini-version of the famous Astro City.

For those who are not familiar with the subject, Astro City is not a game nor a platform, but a sit-down arcade cabinet in Sega’s City series. It was first launched in 1993 with revisions done in ’94 and ’95.
Sega is proud to announce that they are reproducing the famous Astro City Sega Arcade of the 90s that will fit right in the palm of your hand! Another cute-sized retro console, yes! What’s even more exciting is that it will come packed with a bunch of preloaded Sega games. As of the time of writing, the lineup consists of 36 confirmed titles which can be seen below, courtesy of metro.co.uk.
The company confirmed that the mini arcade is set for a release in Japan before the year ends. You can check out the official trailer below.

To make you retro gaming even more interesting, Sega also unveiled a couple of peripheral devices that perfectly fits your Astro City Mini arcade cabinet. Astro City Mini Game Center Style Kit and Arcade Stick.
Game Center Style Kit
This Game Center Style Kit accessory will complete the whole look of your mini arcade as it provides the base accessory that lets you experience the appearance of the Game Center right in the palm of your hands. Plus, a game center chair is also included to complement the whole look. Just simply slide the mini arcade cabinet to the game center style kit to reproduce that retro game feeling. No sweat!
Sega also made the base as a savings box! Yes, you can store coins. Kawaii.
