We all live in a cyberpunk world!

Enhanced by the contrast “high tech / low life”; the protagonists of cyberpunk’s opuses are outsiders who try to fight a solitary war against corrupted corporations and tech monopolies. Sabotaging databases that aim to expand institutional control over the masses; these anti-heroes are the best examples of neo-revolutionaries who live in a globalized world filled with the loss of individuality, mind manipulation, and consumerism.

Bruce Sterling, one of the fathers of the cyberpunk movement, described it as an “unholy alliance of the technical world and the world of organized dissent”. Built on a basic structure that sees high technology used by anti-establishment, counter-cultural characters, through the decades we all witnessed the birth of dozens of books, movies, anime & video games that expanded the c:yberverse to new incredible territories as we have seen in opuses like Mirrorshades, Akira, Snatcher, Cyber City Oedo 808, Ghost in the Shell, Johnny Mnemonic, Serial Experiments Lain, and many other ones. But finally, from tomorrow we can all take part in the most radical c-experience of the recent year; thanks to the much-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 for PlayStation 4 & Xbox One!

Developed by CD Projekt Red who brought us real masterpieces like The Witcher series; Cyberpunk 2077 for PS4 & XB1 is their new must-have open-world adventure game based on the legendary Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop RPG created by Mike Pondsmith. Revolution starts from social networking; this fact is a reality nowadays and it is particularly true in the neon-illuminated suburbs of Night City. This is a futuristic state city ruled by several megacorporations that share the territories. Known also as the City on the Edge of Tomorrow; here all Night Citizens share their paths symbiotically with the activities of Arasaka, Militech, Kiroshi, Orbital Air, Kang Tao, Petrochem, and EBM the corporations who helped the visionary Richard Night to build his ideal city. In here lives V, a cybernetically augmented individual who wants to become a legend both inside and outside the Net.

Meet all the factions, gather information, and if needed take your best shot; in an ever-changing world also in Night City, every decision leads you to a different fate, every choice you make counts. Reassess the ideas of time, reality, materiality, community, and space; in Cyberpunk 2077 for PS4 & XB1 the gap between the present and the future becomes narrower, and everyone who will play it will be catapulted into a vivid and wonderfully immersive science fiction digital world where all the futuristic fantasies created by generations of authors are an integral part of the present.
