Bandai Namco has announced the third DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The new downloadable content for the said game is titled Trunks: The Warrior of Hope, which is set to launch this summer!

Check out the announcement trailer below that tackles an alternate world where Goku died from heart illness.

Goku has died. He had stood tall against the deadliest of foes, but the mighty warrior was no match for the virus in his heart. Though those close to Goku were overcome with sadness, they continued to lead peaceful lives for some time.
However, half a year later, two monstrosities appeared on an island to the south. Earth’s defenders met them head-on, but they stood no chance. Piccolo was the first to fall, then Vegeta, Yamcha, Tien, and Krillin all lost their lives.

In case you missed it, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s opening movie will hit you hard with nostalgia. We all know that you will be thrilled (even us) to see the opening movie set to the original Japanese theme song of the series, Cha-La Head Cha-La by Hironobu Kageyama. It is pretty much a moving nostalgic tribute to the Dragon Ball Z anime, mixing in remarkable scenes from the late 80s and into the 90s.
