If you are still playing The Outer Worlds, it’s time to celebrate, folks! The game publisher Private Division and the game developer Obsidian Entertainment revealed the Murder on Eridanos DLC for The Outer Worlds. Mark your calendars as it’s coming on March 17 for PS4, XONE, and PC. However, for the Switch users, let’s wait for further announcements as there’s no announced release date.

Venture to the skies of Eridanos and unravel the grandest murder mystery in the Halcyon colony! Everyone is a suspect in this peculiar whodunit after Rizzo’s hired spokesperson, the famous Halcyon Helen, winds up dead ahead of the release of the brand-new Spectrum Brown Vodka. Alongside your companions, travel across the floating islands of Eridanos and piece together clues using the Discrepancy Amplifier, a new gadget that highlights otherwise unseen hints. There’s more to this mystery than meets the eye, and it’s up to you (and your crew, if you choose) to solve the case.

Game Overview

This game takes you to the galaxy as you find yourself amid a huge conspiracy after you awake decades later. This conspiracy threatens to destroy the colony of Halcyon. You are now on the journey to the furthest places in outer space while encountering various factions. With this, you are the answer to how this story unfolds. Remember, you are the unplanned variable. Your choices affect the story.

• Flawed in a good way – Build the character you want with optional flaws based on your own game experience. Keep getting attacked by Raptidons? Taking the Raptiphobia flaw gives you a debuff when confronting the vicious creatures, but rewards you with an additional character perk immediately
• Lead your companions – You will meet a host of characters who will want to join your crew. Armed with unique abilities, these companions all have their own missions, motivations, and ideals. It’s up to you to help them achieve their goals, or turn them to your own ends
