Appeared in Tales of Suspense #57 released in September 1964; this former criminal is the perfect example of the motto “treat others as you would like to be treated”. Orphaned at the age of 8, when his parents were killed in a car accident, Clint ran away from the facility in which he was put to join a traveling carnival. Recognizing a natural predisposition for archery; the carnival’s biggest star Swordsman trained him extensively for not so virtuous purposes. He was nothing but an evil man who aims to steal all the money from the carnival coffers; feeling betrayed, Clint tried to stop him but Swordsman was so skilled that beat him easily leaving Clint seriously injured… only the day who he saw Iron Man in action, Clint decided to become a superhero too using his skills in the service of good.

But the unexpected is the spice of life; in fact, during his very first mission as a masked hero he was mistaken for a criminal from the one who inspired him… and his long career alongside the Avengers begun. More complex than the version portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies; in dozens of comic books, Hawkeye raises questions about integrity, ethics, and fairness. We can say without any doubt that he’s an actual positive figure that provides to all the readers many important life lessons.
So we’re very happy to know that Crystal Dynamics gives him a new primary role in the new wonderful Marvel’s Avengers for PS5 & XBXS!
