Bruce Lee's Last, Game of Death, Remastered in Glorious 4K!

The newest entry in the series of 4K remastered Bruce Lee classics is Game of Death. Sadly, this was Bruce Lee's last movie and might have even been his best one had he finished it. But, as martial arts fans know very well, he interrupted the production to film Enter the Dragon and died 1973 of an aneurism before he could pick up filming again. In 1978, a somewhat completed version was released that used two stand-ins and an adapted plot which even included footage of Lee’s funeral.

What he left behind was probably the most iconic jumpsuit known to movie history and a legend that spawned rumors around his life and premature death. The centre piece of the movie is a level-by-level assault on what was supposed to be a five floor pagoda. Each level is guarded by a boss of ever-increasing skill level, including basketball star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. In the end, complete scenes were only shot for three floors, but those made martial arts history and inspired video games since the 80s.

Pre-orders are for October, 14th. This is a regular Blu-ray so you do not need a 4K player for this. Still coming up is the 4K version of the all-time classic Enter the Dragon. Of course, we will keep you updated!
