Fair.
I have fallen in love in 'Burnout" since I have played 'Burnout 2: Points of impact', and I have never left this game in the drawer. Since then, the franchise had more ups then down, especially with the back then all-new takedown. I have also bought both games for the PSP, and they were as good as their predecessors. Anyway, Burnout Paradise in a nice game. Why is it only Nice? Well, lets start with the fact that there are not a lot of new things in it. Couple of races, road rages and other events but no 'crash mode'. Instread you have the "Showtime" (L1+R1) which is dissapointing ans useless. The game gets pretty boring after a couple of races, but I praise Criterion for releasing updates quickly- the bikes, day time and party pack gives a nice twist to the game. Also, you have to be a navigator (or at least have good guiding sense) in order to succeed in races. You can easily find yourself going at the wrong way because of a turn, which is extremely frustrating, especially if you were as the first place. In past burnout games you had a route which was closed in other sides, but because of the "open-world", now you can get lost. So, I give this game 3 out of 5, and I hope that Criterion Games will make Burnout 6 better than Paradise.
