description
Get excited because after a long wait Moss is bringing Caladrius to the PS4, with ENGLISH SUBTITLES! Along with fantastic art and cutscenes to accompany the adrenaline-inducing gameplay this critically acclaimed shooter is receiving an update, rocketing it onto the must-have list for any PS4 owner with a love for bullet hell shooters!
Featuring many of the weapon styles you're used to in Shoot 'Em Ups, Caladrius Blazeretains the gameplay of the original keeping mechanics like the 'Element Shoot System' - a special attack that makes each character unique - intact. 'Elemental Shots', which can be either defensively or offensively, will also retain along with there source management system 'Element Gauge'.
We've come to expect excellence across the board from a Mosstitle, and Caladrius Blaze takes the original title and doesn't disappoint! The fantastic Suzuhito Yasuda, the artist behind Caladrius (360), Durarara!!, and Devil Survivor, has contributed extra content in the form of new artwork, stages, characters, bosses, and characters!
Some might say putting it on the region-free PS4 with English text is one of the best upgrades yet!
Note: Japanese voice.

Caladrius Blaze
This game is insanely difficult. Thankfully it has a 'very easy' mode for people like myself who don't typically play this genre. The game looks quite nice and plays even better. The fan-service is practically non-existent so unless you are an extreme prude it shouldn't be an issue.
There are several different characters each with a ship that plays slightly differently which adds to the replay value.
The only downside is the font is abysmal. It's a bit better on a TV but it's still weird that they used it making any text nearly illegible.
Overall it's a fun game with plenty to unlock so it should keep you busy for a while.

Do you need this? Yes.
Even if you have never tried a shoot em up before, I am sure this one will have something for everyone. I would recommend this game. Some things you have to see to believe!

Great shmup for Nintendo Switch
Very good visual and technical shmup for Nintendo Switch. Shame breaks gives a point, but the game itself its more than that and is full of content and special attacks, one of the best shmups y played.

A balanced Shmup
The perfect balance of Difficulty, accessibility and Fan service.
A good starter shmup for somebody who wants to take the plunge but doesn't want anything too difficult.
