description

Capcom Belt Action Collection is an essential collection of beat ‘em ups includes Final Fight (1989), Captain Commando (1991), The King of Dragons (1991), Knights of the Round (1991), and Warriors of Fate (1992). Additionally, two never before ported titles make their console debut, Armored Warriors (1994) and Battle Circuit (1997), allowing players to experience these arcade gems at home for the first time. These seven titles exemplify some of the best side-scrolling, co-op fun of the arcade era, and introduced us to iconic Capcom characters such as Captain Commando, plus Cody, Guy and Mike Haggar from Final Fight.

Great games
I remember playing Captain Commando and it is a great reason for me to get this collection.

Overall great collection
The Capcom Beat-em up collection is tons of fun overall but love the online function for games like Battle Circuit. Tons of fun.

It would be nice to see some filter options to smooth pixilation out slightly rather than the scanline options. Also Capcom has a huge catalogue of games and feel the selection should of been increased. Perhaps a master Capcom collection in the future would be nice.

Worth purchasing!
It's a nice collection of Arcade games for the switch. Nice to finally have Battle Circuit released on a home console.

This is a pretty standard collection and it would be great if a few more games were in here, however having a physical release of the game is nice to have.

Great emulation, [mostly] bad games
Of the seven games included, the collection is worth it just for Battle Circuit. The other games are terrible to OK with Final Fight being at the bottom and Powered Gear being at the top of the pile. Emulation is excellent with no real hiccups during gameplay. Online play works well enough with a bit of slowdown when you play with someone on the other side of the planet, but still decent. Having the US and original, unaltered Japanese versions of the games is really nice. The gallery is a nice edition with lots of production sketches and renders to view. Menus can be in multiple languages, and will default to whatever language your system is set to making navigation simple.
