The mysteries left behind from FFVII will finally be revealed in this exciting chapter.Crisis Core has action- and menu-based elements. The new battle system is known as Digital Mind Wave, or "DMW", and revolves around a series of reels at the upper left corner of the screen which spin continuously as long as there is SP left to consume. Each rotate independently and upon lining up the three reels of the same character and value, a power-up or a "Power Surge!" will be rewarded to Zack. The player will have full control over Zack when moving around, and can rotate the camera with the left and right triggers. Every now and then, a random encounter battle will occur. The battle takes place on the same screen as regular movement, with no transition or loading.

Poor Zack
Final Fantasy 7 prequal game, very short about 15-20 hours in length, with 100s of side missions. I suggest playing the missions first, as many as possible to get better materia such as curaga, firaga, thudaga earlier than what you would in the main story mode. Can't stress enough

Woa.
I wasn't expecting too much when I popped this into my PSP. It had been yeaars since I completed FF VII. I didn't put the game down for 3 days, got finger cramps and cried at the end. One of the the few games I've experienced that melds a unique gameplay mechanic together with the story to heighten the emotional response from the player.
