Solid gameplay and graphic. Totally enjoying every moment of this game.
The Earth Federation is building their own regiment in the Aidoneus islands. A big war is brewing, and unless somebody steps in, everything is going to be blown apart. Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen Original Generations is the most spectacular addition in the Super Robot Taisen series yet. The game inherits, and greatly improves upon the system from the previous generations. Use the menu in the intermission sessions to select your units. One mecha is powerful enough, but when you pair them together into twins, you can open up an array of moves such as the spirit command and the concentrated command. Some of them are exclusive to this instalment. Equip your mecha with canons and blast your way through the war until peace is achieved.

It took some time to arrive, but it was worth the wait. Great graphics and improved animation, it's a great game for all the SRW fans.
Having played the GBA games that actually did come out in the US, I had some point of reference. That along with a lot of online info/translations makes this fun SRPG quite playable even if you know zero Japanese, as long as you are willing to put forth some extra effort into your gameplay time.
Cool! Board like turn based strategic game, with classical and original robots. I Wish it were in english though.
Getting this game was a nightmare because of some huge amount of bad luck but, 5 months later, I finally got to play this game and I'm not disappointed AT ALL !
Knowing at least a hundred kanji is highly recommended to understand the story or even navigate the menus, but other than that ? Perfect for me !
The soundtrack is awesome, visuals are of course wonderful (and fully hand-drawn graphics never gets old), the characters are colorful, visually appealing and likeable, and all attacks are just great to look at.
As I said : bad luck turns into good experience for me :) maybe even more !
Game is how you expect from a SRW game, SRPG factors, bunch of cool mechs, etc. If you can read the game, a problem that arises is that you don't really know the cast, and that can be a turnoff. If you are already plenty familiar with the characters (either form the previous games on GBA/PS2 or the Anime), then you will have a fun time.
