because they know full well that Koei-Tecmo won't actually localize the game to the west, especially the US because sexiness is a no-no while death and gore are a-ok. anyways this game is as described, the only difference is the cover art is slightly different than the JP version. also most people will know if you need ...[read more...]

It's a good game if your a die hard DOA fan. Not a necessary purchase if you already have it for PS4 as it's basically the same game. But now you can take it on the go, so that's cool. I just wish they brought back the jet skis.
After owning and playing the original 2 years back I can say its a great port for the switch and has heaps of new swimsuits along with the new girl.
My only gripe - which is due to mainly the power limitations of the switch - is the game can drop in FPS at random points.
Is that the price to pay for not being censored? I'd take it
The game is very much what you'd expect, but fantastic none the less, fun and playable. All the English subtitles are there and the menus are in English, dlc was relatively easy to download as soon as I knew what I was doing. I recommend it!
Because of Sony's new policy on censorship the Nintendo Switch is becoming the new machine for those who want to have fun with these types of games. Sad that these types of games won't appear on the NA scene because of SJWs but workarounds are always available if you look into it. PlayAsia is my #1 choice when it comes to imports!
Having played DOAX2 back in the Xbox 360 days, I was a fan of the series despite it being a grind of a game. DOAX3 seems to be less of that and actually has good gameplay. There’s a lot to unlock and thankfully it’s not hidden under microtransactions or paid DLC, which is great as you would need a Hong Kong Nintendo account(NOT Japanese) for this Asia version if you did want to buy things, which makes it tricky.
The visuals of the game are a lot better than what I imagined for the Switch version. The girls are well detailed and well rounded ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) and all have great animations as you’d expect. The game has entirely Japanese voices which I like, but everything else text-wise is in English! It’s pretty much the version for English speaking fans. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the game. Another great addition to the Nintendo Switch library.
