Death Stranding

Received my sweet package with this product today. Death Stranding Day One Limited Run is a steelbook with a slip case on it; steelbook includes a flyer promoting the physical release of "The Art of Death Stranding" art book by Titan Books and a CD-stylized round piece of flyer paper which has Steam digital key printed on it. Yes, there is no CD nor something like that, just a CD-looking flyer paper, but I already knew that, so it's okay. Most importantly, the Steam digital key grants one an access to the complete edition of the original Death Stranding 1, which consist of the game from legendary game creator Hideo Kojima itself, digital art book by Titan Books, digital soundtrack by Ludvig Forssell and all the pre-order content (HD digital wallpapers & unlockable via story progression in-game items: “Sam” sunglasses (chiral gold and omnireflector), cap (chiral gold and omnireflector), gold and silver speed skeleton, gold and silver armour plate). The package is nearly impeccable, but there are two really little pits on the front side of my slip case, but it is not critical. So, long story short, I received exactly what I wanted: digital Steam package called "Death Stranding (Key-Only Pre-Purchase Worldwide)" plus awesome physical steelbook, a bit empty but lovely.

But what is even more lovely is a Playasia service! They were so sweet and patient during our email conversation (although they couldn't send me a picture of the steelbook,, but I don't mind because it's a big company and I got what I wanted anyway). And they put some little gifts to a package for me: a lovely little letter with a postcard in it saying "Merry Christmas" and featuring a picture of their mascot girl Obake PAM in the Christmas look, a sticker featuring their mascot girl Obake PAM in the casual look and a sticker featuring their logo. Steelbook was wrapped in bubble wrap, and the bubble wrap was put in a nice little cardboard box covered in their nice logo.

I was waiting a month and a half until I received my parcel. Actually, it was delivered on January 13, 2023, a months and two weeks after the order was placed, but I didn't receive a notification (from my local post) immediately, and even after I received the notification, I was a little bit busy, so I received my package only on January, 21, today. I was also a little bit afraid that I wouldn't be able to activate the game on my Steam account, because 505 Games, the publisher of Death Stranding 1, put some really strange and unnecessary regional restrictions even to so-called worldwide variant of the key, plus Playasia support emailed me that, according to their information, there is no pre-order content in the product. Fortunately, this was not true.

Now I'm ready to dive into this beautiful and whimsical adventure created by legendary game designer Hideo Kojima! And it's so great that Death Stranding 2 has been confirmed.
