description

Meiji restoration has caused rapid changes in all spheres of the society, these fast paced alterations in turn destabilize a country by ways such as increasing the gap between the rich and the poor, between new ideologies and the old ones. With so much chaos going on, its no wonder that such a place became the breeding ground for demons.Raitou is an amateur detective working under Narumi. Although the partners are used to strange cases, a girl who requested them to kill her is too weird, even for them. Knowing that the girl is hiding something, Raitou and Narumi set off to meet her.The girl, Daidouji Kaya, is from one of the wealthiest families in the city, as the heiress of a considerable fortune, she is an obstacle in her relatives' eyes. Before she could tell the detectives her true request, she was abducted by a man in red.All Daidouji women attract spirits and are easily possessed, with things that involve the supernatural world, Raitou may be the only one who could solve this crime.

One of the last great PS2 Releases
ATLUS continues its SMT franchise spinoffs once again with this game. It is a sequel to an earlier title on the PS2. It improves on everything on the whole. The deluxe package was a very nice move on ATLUS's part. If you liked Persona 3/4 and are willing to try a more action based rpg set more in Japan this one is for you.

Buy it without a second thought
They took everything from the first Raidou that made it an awesome game, added many new ideas and concepts and result is a game that exceeds it's predecessor in every way. Instead of Pokemon-style catching, you sit down and negotiate with demons, good-old Shin Megami Tensesi style. This game also has less but longer chapters, giving you much, much longer play time. Graphics, story, soundtrack (Oh, THE soundtrack... ) everything is first grade. Buy it immadiately if you are a SMT fan. If you are not, buy it anyway to play one of the finest PS2 games ever released.

Not to mention the cutest plush doll and SMT character Rai-ho.

A real improvement
The original was a flawed gem, and this takes all the problems with that game and rectifies every single one of them. Killing demons in 1920's Japan has never been more fun! As an added bonus the soundtrack is included in the box too, which was a nice surprise.
