Digimon World: Next Order

description

Bandai Namco Entertainment are once again bringing the world of Digimon to the PS Vita, where players can digivolve, battle, and travel alongside their Digimon — who will now have even more personality with the addition of facial expressions and more training elements!

For the first time in the Digimon World series players will now be able to choose between a male or female protagonist, both of which are seniors at high school, default names Takuto & Shiki. Players will be able to customize the protagonists names.

The Digimon World series wouldn't be what it is without Partner Training! Digimon World: Next Order will be expanding upon it and the "Care" system by allowing players to care for, and adeventure with, two Digimon at the same time.

"ExE"-volution (usually displayed as "ExE") is a new system that appears in Digimon World: Next Order where raising the bond power that players have with their partner Digimon will result in a miraculous evolution.

Digimon will also be much more dynamic in Next Order: on top of the initial announcement of facial expressions Digimon may also expect players to praise them after a successful battle, or even take the battle into their own hands if they see fit. A discipline element has also been added which allows players to select commands when neccesary, whether you praise or scold them is up to you!

Battles have undergone some large changes, most notably the introduction of the cheering mechanic which allows players to encourage certain tactics that your Digimon has chosen (or not chosen) to follow. After players have encountered an enemy they will be able to perform actions (items, tactics, Digimon selection) while their Digimon prepare for battle. Once the battle has begun players will be able to cheer on their digital friends, who will react to the encouragement.

The definitive Digimon experience!
This is the definitive Digimon experience. The ExE mechanic, which allows your two Digimon to DNA Digivolve into a better Digimon, is probably the best mechanic in the Digimon games. A must-have for all Digimon fans!

Not as great as World 1 but it is good.
This one is the ported version from the vita. Graphic is quite meh, but the main thing you should know is the gameplay. Instead of training one digimon, you can now train 2 digimons at once. The world is expansive but feels disconnected from each section. Story is forgettable. However you'll find yourself wanting for more as you train your digimon from fresh to mega/ultimate. Any fans of digimon should get this, it is a no brainer.

If you happens never had a digimon games before this and only play pokemon, you'll need to know one thing. In digimon world, your digimon will die of old age. You cannot keep a digimon for too long. But with each passing digimon generation, the digimon will grow stronger as some of the stats will carry to the new egg. So don't get too attached to your pikachu and try to explore new training regiment to get new digimons.

Quite the Adventure
It looks like a throwback of the first Digimon World game. You get similar Digimons opening similar shops in your little town.
But now you have two Digimons to take care of.

It's a bit of a shame that the town is smaller now, and the gym has been reduced drastically.
Though, I won't be comparing the two games too much.

This game is like one giant Tamagochi, as you need to take care of your Digimon, but you'll also participate in combat. The combat is pretty nice, as you rely on your Digimons to do the bidding, but you can also issue commands. You'll also get new strategies to use further in the game.

The game also looks and soudns fine. The music is pretty nice. Reminded me a lot of the old game, but remastered.

A good pick for people who wants a different kind of adventure RPG game.

Great game
This is my first Digimon World game. I've never played Digimon World before. However, this game is really fine. It has more than 200 digimon and interesting story.
