Impressive......
I bought this game without really doing too much research into it. I enjoyed the original Dirt and couldnt put it down so I bought this expecting it to be more of the same.

It wasnt, the game had taken on a more XGames feel rather than a serious racing game which had made me sceptical to begin with however after a few hours of racing, the game really grew on me and it was difficult to put it down until the finish! The game impressed me in every aspect, the comments from the other drivers become a little biy annoying and repetative but other than that, an excellent game, one of the best racers I have played so far on the PS3, much better than NFS or Grid. Cant wait to get into the online mode of the game!

Fan of driving games? Purchase this game!!!

Colin McRae: Dirt 2 (ft. Ken Block)
I'd choose 6 stars out of 5 if the system would let me!

With the sad departure of the world's finest rally driver, Colin McRae, the rally driving culture was dealt a cruel a blow. The hugely anticipated Colin McRae Dirt 2 was cast a shadow over it as to the completion of its release. Without fail, Codemasters have blown us out of the water with an outstanding sequel, picked up by crazy Ken Block who has torn apart the competition and proven himself worthy in the sideways-sliding hall of fame as being the master of insane rally and rallycross stunt antics.

This game delivers adrenalin through your fingertips and will leave you with a taste of dust in your mouth as you wind yourself through some of the best course creation and undulating, gut-churning terrain with stunning graphics and brilliant game play.

Pre-ordering a game was a first for me. I couldn't wait for it to arrive in the post from Play-Asia and even finished my working day to head home and fire up my Playstation3. The drivability of the cars is a massive improvement above the slipperiness of Colin McRae Dirt (1) and the attention to detail is jaw-dropping. I find myself glued to the bigscreen and with a butt-groove in my couch seat to get in as much practice as I can to unlock to Colin McRae Memorial Race in honour of the legend of rally.

RIP Colin McRae (5 August 1968 – 15 September 2007)
