Nobuo Uematsu brings the grandeur in his music to a new high. Performed by the Stockholm Philharmonic and conducted by Arnie Roth, the battles themes, such as Man with a Machine Gun and Yousei Ranbu get even more powerful while the gentler themes such as To Zanarkand and Suteki da ne becomes more haunting. This arrangement inspires the imagination like no soundtrack does and is an item all classical music and game fan must own.

Great, grape it!
No many words to say for this great performance for this album.
All your remembered songs going to orchestra.
And for new ages you will feel how FF emotional.
And yet Susan Calloway doing her great singing.

For FF fan do not hesitate to take it.

The best FF compilation yet
Great music and very large collection between the two volumes, though with a huge franchise like FF we might have a third one coming very soon

Some Great Vocal Tracks As Well
This orchestral version brings the best out of the Final Fantasy songs. "To Zanarkand" and "Suteki Da Ne" are two new additions from FF X. The latter, being in English, sounds even better than the original. For any fan of Nobuo Uematsu, I highly recommend this.

Let's keep this series going!
"Distant Worlds II" is an worthy continuation from the original Distant Worlds CD. It features orchestrtal arrangements from many final fantasy games. Great to see tracks like "Ronfaure" getting a new makeover and sounding great.
Another surprise was to find an English version of "Suteki Da Ne" (slightly different lyrics than what's up on youtube by the fans) . The disk concludes with a rather swingy brass band version of the Jenova theme, which is catchy. Excellent rated CD and wanting more!
