Item Description

Katsuhiro Otomo's masterpiece "Akira", which became a huge hit worldwide. The only music work of "Domu", which can be said to be the origin, is finally reprinted on a limited analog board in response to many requests!

Katsuhiro Otomo's manga "Domu" is a psychic action that unfolds over a mysterious death incident in a housing complex, and is a masterpiece that can be said to be the origin of "Akira", which became a worldwide blockbuster. It was serialized four times in Futabasha's "Action Deluxe" from 1980 to 1981, and when the long-awaited book was published by Futabasha in 1983, it won the 4th Japan SF Award for the first time as a work other than a novel. A unique work. It had a tremendous influence not only in the manga world but also in various fields.

This work was released only when composer Kazuhiko Izu, who was an avid fan of Otomo's work, brought a plan to release the music work of "Domu" to Otomo himself at that time. A wide variety of instrumental works such as rock, pop, hard rock, jazz, Latin, electronic music and a variety of driving and band styles will inspire all imagination.

The original was released by King Records in June 1984. The liner notes also include a dialogue between Mr. Otomo and Mr. Izu at that time. Newly written illustrations (at that time) are also reprinted!
