Dragon Quest

The peace of fair Alefgard has been shattered by the appearance of the nefarious master of the night known as the Dragonlord, and the Sphere of Light, which for so long kept the forces of darkness in check, has been stolen! It is time for you, a young warrior through whose veins flows the blood of the legendary hero Erdrick, to set out on a quest to vanquish the Dragonlord, and save the land from darkness!
Experience the first episode of the DRAGON QUEST series loved by millions in Japan and worldwide! Created by a legendary trio with the master creator Yuji Horii, the revolutionary synthesizer score and orchestration by Koichi Sugiyama, and art by master manga artist Akira Toriyama.

Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line

A century has passed since the events of the first DRAGON QUEST, during which time the descendants of the hero of Alefgard have forged three new nations. But the peace they have known is no more. Demon hosts summoned forth from the darkness by High Priest Hargon have brought the land to the brink of ruin once again. Now, the young prince of Midenhall must set out to find the other two descendants of Erdrick so that together they might defeat the nefarious Hargon and restore peace to their world.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation

On the morning of your sixteenth birthday, you are charged with a seemingly impossible task by the King himself: to assume the mantle of your father Ortega, the hero of the land of Aliahan, and slay the Archfiend Baramos, master of darkness! What trials await you, intrepid hero, as you set out on a quest not even your legendary father was strong enough to complete?

my fave ateliers
I got them digitally on sale a while ago, fell absolutely in love with them, and now I'm delighted to own the physical copy! These are wonderful games, at a great price, with mad replay value, excellent character design, plots/stories, character relationships, and some of the most fun combat and crafting in the series.

Valuable
This is very sought-after game release because the cartridge contains all three games in the Dusk trilogy, together with English translation and all DLCs. There is no other way how to get these games on a modern platform in the physical form (PS4 versions were released digital-only in the West, unfortunately). Many fans say the Dusk trilogy is currently the pinnacle of Atelier series. Later trilogy (Mysterious trilogy) was considered quite controversial by many (especially Atelier Firis with its attempt for an open-world gameplay). Also, from Atelier Lydia & Suelle, Dusk/KOEI started the trend not to include English dub to their games. The Dusk trilogy is the last one which have all its games English dubbed (to some extent). For me personally, Atelier Mysterious Trilogy on the Switch has no such value as this Dusk trilogy also because all three games from it are still widely available on PS4 where they run better, although obviously Switch brings the portability to the table. Not mentioning that with the recent release of Atelier Sophie 2, it is not the complete trilogy anymore ;-)
Overall I highly recommend Atelier Dusk Trilogy purchase for all fans of Atelier series. I highly recommend it even for people who are just curious about these games -- this release will keep its high value long after your purchase so there won't be any problem to sell it eventually later if you find it not your cup of tea.

Excellent Games
These are excellent games with lots of replay value.
Though the graphics are dated, the art style is beautiful. The character designs look great, regardless of how long ago the original version was released.
The soundtracks are some of my favourites in all video games. I find myself listening to them during my work day, since they are so relaxing.
Gameplay may not be for everyone, but if you enjoy character interactions, turn-based combat, and most importantly, crafting, than you'll likely really enjoy this game.
