Dragon Quest

The peace of fair Alefgard has been shattered by the appearance of the nefarious master of the night known as the Dragonlord, and the Sphere of Light, which for so long kept the forces of darkness in check, has been stolen! It is time for you, a young warrior through whose veins flows the blood of the legendary hero Erdrick, to set out on a quest to vanquish the Dragonlord, and save the land from darkness!
Experience the first episode of the DRAGON QUEST series loved by millions in Japan and worldwide! Created by a legendary trio with the master creator Yuji Horii, the revolutionary synthesizer score and orchestration by Koichi Sugiyama, and art by master manga artist Akira Toriyama.

Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line

A century has passed since the events of the first DRAGON QUEST, during which time the descendants of the hero of Alefgard have forged three new nations. But the peace they have known is no more. Demon hosts summoned forth from the darkness by High Priest Hargon have brought the land to the brink of ruin once again. Now, the young prince of Midenhall must set out to find the other two descendants of Erdrick so that together they might defeat the nefarious Hargon and restore peace to their world.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation

On the morning of your sixteenth birthday, you are charged with a seemingly impossible task by the King himself: to assume the mantle of your father Ortega, the hero of the land of Aliahan, and slay the Archfiend Baramos, master of darkness! What trials await you, intrepid hero, as you set out on a quest not even your legendary father was strong enough to complete?

Very great set.
These games look and run beautifully. Great set even for the price. These games have all the dlc not included in the ps3 versions! A must have.

Good Things in Small Packages
There are three full games in this cartridge with makes for many hours of gameplay. Factor in the fact that there are multiple endings to each game and you certainly get a lot of bang for your buck. Compared to other popular JRPGs, there is no impending end of the world or monstrous arch villain to fight in these games. And it is refreshing! Of course, there are still monsters to fight, but for the most part you will be collecting materials, crafting items, and talking to characters. The character designs are very cute, and the world they inhabit is beautiful and mysterious enough to explore. The games in this trilogy are interconnected and overall tell the story of Dusk, an environmental blight that is slowly taking over the world. The chronological order to play the games is Atelier Ayesha, followed by Atelier Escha & Logy, and finally Atelier Shallie. But each game is a self contained story and they do not have to be played in order. However, characters from the previous games will frequently make cameo appearances in later games, and sometimes even join your party! Another thing to note is that Atelier Ayesha and Atelier Escha & Logy have time limited quest to fulfill. However, don't stress about it too much as you are given ample time to complete the quest. Another interesting thing to note is that Atelier Escha & Logy, and Atelier Shallie let's you choose between two protagonists to experience the story through. With Atelier Escha & Logy letting you play as a male Alchemist for the first time in the franchise's history! Anyway, there is a lot of content to experience in this edition. So even though the price may seem steep, there is a lot of content to justify it.

Fun games
I really enjoy these games. There is a lot of story but it has some good turn-based action.
