description

Released in 2000, the ultra popular RPG Dragon Quest 7 set new standards for the Japanese RPG genres. Now, revived for the Nintendo 3DS, gamers can delve into this world once again and take in all the wonders. With graphics enhancement, the 3D maps seen in birds eye view and the animated movies are becoming more impressive. The game takes players into the world of fantasy where stone plates are used to create portals to new realms. You start your journey on the peaceful Estad Islands. There is a wealth of job classes to choose from and many allies to meet in your adventures. New additions include a radar that helps you find the stone plates and an exchange function where you can swap plates with other gamers.

Good deal!
I was pretty excited to learn SE was re-releasing the 3DS version of DQVII under its Ultimate Hits label earlier this year, a nice 70ish hour game for under $30 sounded pretty good. Don't be intimidated due to the language barrier! The game is largely playable while following a FAQ/walkthrough for the original PSone version. That said, like many other users here and in the DQ fanbase, I hope this makes it over to western territories in the distant future, fingers crossed!
