A real step up from Wii Fit
If you are looking for something with a bit more challenge than Wii Fit while again having the chance to play some fun exercise games then EA Sports Active is the game for you. My wife and I have run rings around Wii Fit Plus and this gave us further motivation to get off the couch and lose some calories. A great buy and a must for Wii Fit owners.

Good workout
Really like the set up and exercises, as it adds a variation to Wii Fit. Only negative was occasionally num-chuck didn't properly co-incide with the exercise

An intense workout
I recommend anyone starting this who isn't used to a workout to start on the lowest difficulty. I made the mistake of starting on medium and after the first session (lasting about 1/2 an hour), I could barely stand up. My legs were like jelly!

You'll get a good cardio workout from this. There's a nice variety of activities you can do and it's guaranteed to get your heart pumping! Recommended.

Though Wii Fit has fun balance games, this is far superior for exercise and motivation, and you don't even need the balance board. In fact, the "balance board-enhanced" activities are nearly universally worse than their non-balance board counterparts.

After trying all of the individual easy exercises, I moved onto the 30-day challenge on easy, and I found it motivated me to exercise 4-5 times per week, whereas I was only using Wii Fit every fortnight or so.

After this, I will try Wii Fit Plus, but EA Sports Active's expansion will be out later this year, and promises to be the far superior product. This is a fitness program worth investing in.

All you need to know about this product is that it works. No it wont really make working-out much more fun or enticing than it already is but it will keep you motivated to keep going and provides you with a good set of exercises which you can do at home.

If you're looking to lose some weight and own a Wii, this product is hard to beat.
