On the pitch, critical gameplay fundamentals have been enhanced to ensure that FIFA Soccer 10 mirrors real-world soccer, providing more sophisticated ball control, and physical interaction. On defense, new concepts like position priority enable defenders to multitask so dangerous spaces left open by teammates out of position are covered. FIFA 10 is yet another improvement in the FIFA series. The players handle a lot smoother and generally allow a lot more freedom. Playing through the seasons as a manager remains fun (the auto-coach can be activated to handle the majority of team affairs letting you play), especially so when playing in an online league.
The reason for not giving this 4 stars is the continued lack of celebratory scenes in the game. When you win a cup or the league there are no scenes of the team collecting the trophy or be congratulated. It takes a lot of the joy out winning a hard fought cup final. The same goes for the lack of newspaper interviews, etc. Certainly, EA should take a look at the legendary Sensible Soccer in terms of the cut scenes involving victory (and defeat).
Overall, the beautiful game at its best... at least until FIFA 11 ;)

FIFA destroys PES.
Again, FIFA mades another greats game, putting PES as the second best -foootball soccer ever, impressive graphics, extense Career mode and PRO mode, mades this the best of the series, EA does it again.

Still the best on the market, but what has changed?
Another year and another instalment of Fifa. It is, for the most part, a very solid game and compared to its major rival (PES10), it is still the premier football simulation on the market.
What lets the game down though is the little niggles and the lack of innovation. Manager Mode has had little to nothing changed from last year, and still has bugs from last year's game.
It is a beautiful simulation of the beautiful game, and still the best on the market. A great fun game, with entertaining online and offline features, but not a revolutionary step forward from last year.

Well done EA
Ea sports have really out done this time with Fifa 10. My personal view (might differ from other people) Fifa 10 is way better then pro evolution 2010. with new and improved AI and Manager mode. even the ability to create our own set pieces. Any one looking for a good football (soccer) simulation game. this is the one for u.

very good gameplay. best soccer game i ve played so far, and first time playing Fifa as well (used to be a PES fan). The online game is much more fluid and lag free than on the previous PES (havent played pes 2010 though). But it has isues. after 5 season of management mode, for no reason whatsoever, the saved filed got messed up and reverted to some saved file from my second season (i only use 1 file that i keep overwriting after EACH game, so there was no reason for the 3 seasons jump back....). Also management is fun, but i liked pes master league better. so in the end, great great great game for playing online or at home against your friends.
