description
Final Fantasy IX is the series' last release on the PlayStation, and to commemorate the success the game has on this console, the character's designs revert back to super deformed sprites. The castle, flying ships and princesses are all orthodox elements in the Final Fantasy series and lends a nostalgic air to the epic RPG.Recently joined the Play-Arts Wagon are Zidane the bandit, Garnet, the princess and Vivi the black mage. Zidane is one of the stars and the most useful characters in Dissidia while Garnet is both a powerful healer and magic user and Vivi became one of the mascot characters for the Final Fantasy series. All three stars are in their animated glory, the figures crafted and finished to the most artistic degree.

That stick!
Looks good but the staff can not be secured well into the only hand designed to hold it and constantly falls off.

beautiful!
Garnet Til Alexandros XVII is one of my favorite female characters from Final Fantasy series. she's beautiful, not only in her physical but also her heart.
and this figure is beautiful also, I like it!
a must have for FF fans, especially if you're FF IX fans!
I'm waiting for Zidane and Vivi's figures to be in stock, because Play-Asia is the cheapest place to buy them. :D

A decent buy
The paint job is well done, and in my opinion the colors are very accurate to the ones in the actual game. Garnet's face is also beautifully captured. I also like how they stayed true to the dimensions from FFIX itself. A bit disappointed on how the hair was done, however; its nothing bad, but it could've been better. All in all, a decent buy, and not to mention a must-have for Final Fantasy lovers!

Not the best
I do agree that the Play-arts series for FF9 is a bit shoddy compared to the others FF. Kinda feel like you getting short-changed from SQUARE at the price its selling. The details are pretty rough.
But as a collector, you just have to get 'em all! Final Fantasy Forever!
