A must for FF7 fans
It's almost a given that Square won't release this bad boy outside of Japan. Looking into a PS3, I immediately ordered this limited edition PS3.

The coating on it is a definite plus as it reduces the visibility of fingerprints. The imprinted Fenrir insignia that makes this console limited edition is a definite eye catcher to those that first put their eyes on it-- and to all those people saying "just spray paint the emblem on it and save yourself a couple hundred bucks" I doubt you would spray paint your PS3 yourself just to get this look. It comes with a demo of FFXIII and a copy of Advent Children Complete on blu-ray inside a nice protective sleeve-- really a great addition to the PS3 and a good starter to those just entering the PS3 family. Also this version of the PS3 is the one with one of the biggest hard-drives: 160 GB. Definitely a great added bonus. And thanks to the the same region code for US and Japan, you can play blu-rays from from both countries (the DVD region for this PS3 however is still Japan's, which could be a bonus if you import a lot of movies from there). And with the option of having the menus in English as well as playing any PS3 game thanks to the region free code on it, it feels like a PS3 from your own soil-- just limited edition.

The con is that once you overlook past all these lustrous qualities coming from it being limited edition, you realize when it comes down to it, it functions like a normal overpriced PS3. And since it's a newer one, no backwards compatibility with the PS2, let alone non-Japanese PS2 games. And a big worry factor is that IF this console breaks, you've just wasted a good chunk of change. Hope you know someone tech savvy to fix it.

But for any true FF7 fan, all these cons are overlooked and you'll never loose the feeling of being a proud owner of one of these divine PS3s.

My first Limited Edition console...
And I have to say, I love it to death. Seriously, the console is beautiful. It's different compared to PS 3's regular Piano Black. :D

On the other hand, I couldnt care less about the Movie and the FF XIII demo. -__-
