description

Your battle. Your future. Your fate.

Two kingdoms are on the brink of war. Whose side will you choose? Torn between two families, you're an heir of Hoshido, raised by Nohrian royals. If you walk the path of Birthright, you'll battle the corrupted king of Nohr beside a family of strangers. If you walk the path of Conquest, you must fight to change your misguided kingdom from within. Command them expertly and forge deep relationships to master this turn-based strategy game.

Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright is an absolute delight to play, from the battlefield to the bedroom. If you loved its predecessor Awakening, you'll enjoy the heightened tension and intimacy imbued in every moment of Birthright.
Selecting from your dozens of fighters and coordinating your assault is a delicate dance, and forces you to agonize over every move. There is an embarrassment of riches in terms of character selection--there are archers, healers, casters, aerial wyvern riders and sky nights, and a handful of different kinds of melee combatants, each with their own personality.

Developed by the same team that created Fire Emblem Awakening, the new adventure adds challenges never before seen in the series.
Two kingdoms at war ; the peace-loving Hoshido and the glory-seeking Nohr. It is up to the player to decide which side to fight for with amazing visuals, an entirely captivating story and engrossing game play. Neither veterans nor newcomers should miss a change for one of the best offerings for the 3DS.

Pedestrian at best
Mechanically there's nothing wrong with this game, but the story is painfully flat and the game's attempts to sell you it's 2 other paths makes it feel like a used car salesman has started dressing in Fire Emblem's clothing. Wait for a discount if like me you're a fire Emblem maniac.
