French Connection: New York City detectives "Popeye" Doyle (Gene Hackman) and Buddy Russo (Roy Scheider) hope to break a narcotics smuggling ring and ultimately uncover The French Connection. But when one of the criminals tries to kill Doyle, he begins a deadly pursuit that takes him far outside the city limits. Based on a true story, this action-filled thriller, with its renowned chase scene, won five Academy Awards, in 1971, including Best Picture, Best Director (William Friedkin) and Best Actor for Hackman. French Connection II: Gene Hackman reprises his Oscar®-winning* role as Popeye Doyle, the hard-nosed New York detective determined to break a French narcotics ring. Kidnapped by heroin kingpin Alain Charnier (Fernando Rey) in Marseilles, Doyle is mercilessly forced to become a junkie himself. Upon his release, Doyle must kick his habit and join forces with his French police counterpart (Bernard Fresson) to hunt down Charnier. Gritty action, riveting performances and a vividly realistic setting make French Connection II a powerful sequel to the brilliant original.

Worst Bluray Ever!!! Watch out!!
First Thing!
French Connection 2 is great.
Video is just great. And it has 2 commentary
And little documentary about John Frankenheimer
anyway. mainfeature is so good. and also special features are great too.

But!!!. Problem is The French Connection.
Special feature is very different with dvd version.
They made another documentary AGAIN
So now in here. There are no documentary before the dvd version. Just all New Documentary.

But What I'm most angry about is main feature.
You may saw the the trailer of this french conection bluray version. on other bluray. and I Know. I have it

And you know. It's not that good. there is no such that good moment. colors are all gone. Just horrible.

Believe me. dvd is better. Just Totally Wrong!!
I don't know why they release this. It's very seriously BAD!! If you buy this. you gonna get angry.
And you want you're money back.
There will be no worst bluray than this
