While we're always surrounded by a veritible library of great Video Gamers here at Play-asia.com, today is one of those days where we really, really, really, look forward to going home - Huge release day today!

First on the list is Blizzard's Overwatch - you can believe us when we say we've been playing the Beta, watching all the cinematics, and just generally 100% hyped for this Hero Arena Shooter. Maybe because it's one of the most polished games we've seen so far from this fledging genre, especially with the Pixar aethestic, and knowing Blizzard, we're sure that all gamers who get to play this are in for a long ride full of content updates, a great community, and more.

Ok well, to be honest, at first we were just excited, but thanks to the whole "controversy" about Tracer's victory pose, the attention given to this game got us really excited. Big shout out to those who brought this to our attention (_)(_)ԅ(‾⌣‾ԅ)

Next on the list, and it makes it really hard to decide on which title to play first is Platinum's 2nd foray into nostalgia: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan!

When the first trailer got leaked months ago, TMNT fans across the world in utter shellshock! One of the biggest features of this title is the mention of 4 player online co-op mode in a limited open-world setting. Players will be able to do co-op joint attacks unleashing team combos that would even surprise Master Splinter; foes faced so far are the usual rouges gallery of Foot Soldiers, Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady, and even Krang, making this title the possible go to TMNT game since the Super Nintendo's amazing Turtles In Time!

Combined with the signature action flair from Platinum, a cel shaded comic-inspired art style, and an original story from IDW Comic's TMNT writer Tom Waltz, this might just be the TMNT game we've been waiting for!

No matter what you get, this weekend is going to be great for gaming (or bad for your backlog :D )
