Great action / adventure game, easy to get lost though.
This game is basically the NES version of Mystical Ninja from Super Nintendo. It's a Zelda 1 type of game, but has an arcade style beat 'em sort of addition to it. The characters are pretty funny, the music is good and catchy, and the game is relatively simple and easy.

You basically run around a town or whatever area you are in and beat up enemies in the way and can revisit any part of that stage whenever you want. Wander around, find the key, enter the boss door, beat the boss, move on to the next stage.

It's a simple fun game that unfortunately never released in the United States. I would say get it definitely if you can! I also recommend being able to read Japanese because a lot of the dialogue is supposed to be funny and at times is important to figure out what you are doing.
