description

Every century a monster will be born. It devours everything in it path and multiplies until every city becomes ruins. To prevent the disaster, the Kingdom of Aionia has been implementing austerity measures, using the money to draft soldiers and build fortresses. The protagonist and his friends Myura and Gino are novice monster hunters, and one day, on the way back to camp after a training session, they spotted monsters they have never seen before. One of them was manageable, but they multiply too fast. The heroes have no choice but to run. When they three ran into the ruins of a fortress, they found a strange boy waiting for them. With a wave of a wand, the boy sent the three back a century ago. There they meet the heroes who battled the monsters, and can perhaps find a way to save their land.If they can return at all.

Finally a Suikoden game once again
Years of waiting has finally come to fruition though this game is not actually a direct continuation of the Suikoden franchise. More like a side story. No runes here which is kinda of a letdown
But what makes Suikoden series real fun is the recruitment of 108 stars and looking at your castle growing bigger and bigger, and luckily, that is still there.

Great game in the Suikoden series but very different no runes and if you don't know japaese you might have a hard time with the game length is about 30 hours give or take i enjoyed every min of it there are of annoying parts in the game and switching time periods gets old fast you equip weapon in this game no weapon upgrading so potch grinding late in the game will be required if you want everyone geared out or hope for killer drop from mobs if you can get it id say go for it money well spent

This game is pretty hard to play if you don't know Japanese because it's hard to tell what the menu items are and healing items can only be used outside of battle. There is not a guide/faq about this game to tell where you need to go. I would recomend finding a wiki to help non Japanese players if one is avalible. I recomend this game to suikoden fans would recomend waiting for FAQ if this is your first suikoden game as it is alittle too hard
