One day, he is sent to investigate a series of murder. The perpetrators are apparently the gynoids - androids made in the form of young women, used as sex dolls - that have malfunctioned. Batou thinks he is getting closer to the truth but it's until he runs into Motoko that he knows the truth is far beyond his knowledge......
