GP32 News: New GP32 Front Light Unit & 'Mill' shipping next week - video inside

Hot and exciting GP32 news today at Play-Asia.com:

The most powerful 32-bit Handheld Console gets an upgrade. Just like the Afterburner Kit for the Game Boy Advance™, the Korean company Hahotech has developed an addon for the GP32. The Front Light Addon uses a white non reflective light diode to brighten up the GP32 screen.

The result will be a 'new' GP32 Game System [Front Light Version], which will be available in the following week. The self installation kit may follow a short time later for users who'd like to upgrade their GP32 by themselves. Play-Asia.com is now taking preorders for the new Front Light GP32 for shipping in the next week for a price of US$ 199.99. The 'good old' standard GP32 remains available at unchanged US$ 149.

Though we didn't have chance to get our hands on the new Front Light Version GP32, we'd like to mention that the GP32 screen itself (without light upgrade) will not appear as dark as the one of the Game Boy Advance™. Therefore we can still recommend the standard GP32 for everyone who hesitates to spend the extra 50 Dollars.

Update: For everyone who'd like to see the GP32 Front Light in action, we have uploaded a video to our server. You can check it out here.

Additionally one new GP32 game will be released in the following week, which looks very promising indeed:

Mill is an adventure in which you control a boy with his talking umbrella. The game uses triple scrolling technique providing much deeper feeling of 3d dimensional space...

Mill will see release on April 18th, preorders are now welcome for US$ 32.90.
